While achieving her Bsc(hons) Psychology/Art History Degree (1997) in Cambridge, Sarah's love of photography began to flourish. During those years Sarah studied out field modules in photography and independently began developing her photographic career.

Sarah and her camera travelled through India, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Africa and Europe documenting the people and places along the way.

In 2004 Sarah went back into education and secured a place at St Martins School of Art to successfully gain a Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Photography.

One year after valuable work experience with The Press Association  in London, Sarah became a full time photojournalist for Archant, covering the Harlow and Bishops Stortford Herald, Dunmow Broadcast and Saffron Walden Reporter. She is now a staff photographer at the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Evening Star.

Annually, Sarah exhibits with fellow graduates from St Martins in an ambitious photography project which began in 2004 called '24'. 24 photographers documenting the first 24 hours of each new year, for 24 years. The photographers involved have embarked on a hugely ambitious photographic project that will span a generation. Coming in to it's 5th year , 24:08 is going to be unmissable.
